Filament PLA - termoplastyczny poliester w postaci włókna, stosowany do druku 3D metodą FFF. Filament nawinięty na szpuli, zapakowany próżniowo wraz z pochłaniaczem wilgoci. Szpula zawiera 1 kg netto materiału. Może być stosowany we wszystkich drukarkach FFF niezabezpieczonych przed użyciem materiału pochodzącego od zewnętrznego dostawcy oraz konstrukcji typu „open source”. PLA jest materiałem biodegradowalnym, wytwarzanym z odnawialnych surowców naturalnych. Dedykowany jest on przede wszystkim amatorom ze względu na bezproblemowe użytkowanie.
